Definition/synonyms |
tenor tuba The euphonium (Greek for "melodious"), also called "saxhorn", is a low brass instrument which, due to its conical bore, belongs to the bugle family like the flugelhorn, tenor horn, baritone and tuba. The euphonium is sometimes used in the symphonic field instead of the tenor horn or baritone. |
