Additional info/contents	Roy Ernst, Prof. Emeritus of the Eastman School of Music, founded the first "New Horizons Band" in 1991. This A-B-A form overture was written and dedicated for the New Horizons Band of Las Cruces, New Mexico. Written without a key signature, melodic material is based on dorian and lydian scales in E-flat and F. This work is ideal for either a contest or concert performance.
