Additional info/contents	No. 4 (tutti) Pavane et Saltarelle: The scintillating Saltarelle in rapid 12/8 rhythm alternating short and long notes over running tarantella triplets is flanked by two appearances of the Pavane. The Pavane can be stately processional and majestic. Pierné, like Faure and Ravel, favors its poignant, wistful manifestation. The opening violin solo melody is one of his most ravishing creations.
