Additional info/contents	No. 5 (string quartet) Menuet du Roy : The Minuet (and Trio) has been pressed into service by more composers in more works over a longer period than any other measure. It too began life as a rustic French dance rendered genteel by court use. Here Pierné is paying tribute to Beauchamp, Louis XVI's great dancing-master who effectively commandeered it in the service of his royal patron, the 'Roy' of the title.
