Additional info/contents	A setting of the hymn by Francis of Assisi, 'All creatures of our God and King'. This piece, originally written for a Chicago Staff Band Thanksgiving, has found great favour in recent programmes. The music has a dual purpose: as a stand-alone programme item or, as originally intended, as an extended accompaniment for the congregation. In the latter case, the composer suggests singing verses 1, 3 and 5 of "All creatures of our God and King". The various entry points are indicated in the score. The enterprising bandmaster can emphasise the antiphonal effect of the fanfare figures for cornet and trombone by strategically positioning each group away from the main body of the band.
