Additional info/contents	The mystical stones of the Waldviertel region are striking natural phenomena that fascinate with their geological uniqueness and the surrounding legends. The globe stone symbolizes the connection between nature and the cosmos, the Kierling stone is known for its water-filled depression with purported healing powers, and the sacrificial stone is associated with ancient rituals. The humming stone transforms voices into perceptible vibrations, while the rocking stone captivates with its gentle movement. These stones inspired Reinhard Summerer to compose "Three Magical Stones," Op. 33, for top-level wind orchestra. This approximately 13.5-minute work combines modern musical language with the mystical atmosphere of the stones and is among the most demanding works for wind orchestra. The stones of the Waldviertel thus remain not only geological phenomena but also cultural symbols that connect nature, myth, and music.
