Additional info/contents	For a long time, the composer Theodor Rupprecht (1873-1934) was considered an Austrian in brass band circles. No one could say exactly why. However, more detailed research revealed that the pupil of the Royal Bavarian Court Conductor Joseph Rheinberger (1839-1901) was a true Munich native. He was a cellist at the State Theatre there and became known as a composer of operettas, marches and dances. His march "Don Quixote" is one of the Rupprecht marches still known today and offers a firework of satirical ideas. Something really special among marches of its time.
