Additional info/contents	Seahawk is a dynamic-sounding overture with a classical ABA structure. From an energetic opening motif, a rhythmical accompaniment structure develops, which supports the playful and agile theme. A second, more melodic theme then makes gracefullines above the still rhythmic foundation. The euphoniums introduce the middle movement; then pass on the Iyrical melody to the woodwinds. From that moment on, the tension builds to a grand tutti passage, which is abruptly interrupted by the rhythmical accompaniment motif. In the final movement, we hear the first two themes again in another order and in another instrumentation. Thus, Seahawk is a work in which all sections of the band can "do their thing".
