Additional info/contents	As the title suggests, this opening work consists of a fanfare and a hymn. It was written for the opening ceremony of the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Obersdorf (Germany). This work can be played in four alternative versions, as a practice, many bands need these kind of ceremonial variants. This is why the composer included a 1. complete version; 2. a short fanfare by trumpets (cornets), trombones, and timpani; 3. a double fanfare (extended with tutti-band); and 4. a fanfare version followed by a portion of the hymn.
