Additional info/contents	The zarzuela genre originated in Spain in the 17th century and can be described as a type of comic opera. Unlike its Italian counterpart, the opera buffa, the Spanish zarzuela became increasingly popular and evolved into the genre of Spanish operetta. Gerónimo Giménez (1854-1923) was one of the most successful composers of this genre. Jan Rypens has written a refreshing arrangement of the intermezzo from "La boda de Luis Alonso."
