Additional info/contents	The work opens with a majestic "Lento" which is based around an opening fanfare first presented by the trumpets. This is followed by a driving "Vivace" which presents the main theme over a rhythmic ostinato. A change of key introduces the broad trio tune, which is followed by a return to the main theme. This heralds a recapitulation, which leads back to a recall of the opening fanfare to bring the work to a close.
