Additional info/contents	Funky Brass entstand im Auftrag der Brass Band Oberösterreich für den Europäischen Brass Band Wettbewerb 2006 in Belfast. Otto M. Schwarz entschied sich für ein funkiges Stück, da das Repertoire in dieser Stilrichtung für diese Besetzung eher spärlich ist. Das Werk ist eine gelungene Stilerweiterung für die Brass-Band-Szene und ist unter dem Titel Funky Winds ebenfalls in einer Blasorchester-Fassung erhältlich. Funky Brass was commissioned by the Brass Band Oberösterreich for the European Brass Band Championships 2006 in Belfast. Otto M. Schwarz decided to compose a funky piece since the repertoire in this style for this instrumentation is rather limited. Funky Brass is a perfect funky addition to the brass band repertoire and, under the title Funky Winds, is now also available for concert band.
