Additional info/contents	Zorba The Greek is the film adaptation of the novel of the same name by Nikos Kazantzakis. The film, one of the most successful in cinema history, was directed by Michael Cacoyannis in 1964 with Anthony Quinn in the title role. On March 26, 1965 he appeared in German cinemas and broke numerous box office records there as well. Sirtaki is a typical Greek folk dance.
