Daugela had to promise the young musicians a new composition in exchange for something to reduce the spiciness. The remedy was simple salad oil, and this peppery, easy-to-play piece in a mambo rhythm is the result of the bargain, from which every wind orchestra can now benefit! (© De Haske)
