Additional info/contents	A “flashback” is a psychological phenomenon: an experience, seemingly out of nowhere, awakens the memory of something long ago. Jan de Haan felt the same way when he was supposed to write a piece for a youth orchestra in the Netherlands in which he himself once played. Suddenly he remembered a piece called Deep Harmony that was often programmed at the time and he used this flashback as inspiration to incorporate this English hymn into his new work.
