Additional info/contents	The news of his death shocked the world: In June 2009 Michael Jackson died at the age of 50. This year the "King of Pop" would have turned 60. Jackson was born on August 29, 1958 in Gary, Indiana. Driven by his father, whom he later reproached severely, he became the star of the family band "Jackson Five". Already his first solo album "Off The Wall" sold more than 20 million copies worldwide and beat all previous sales records. In 1982 "Thriller" was released, which has sold more than 50 million copies to date, making it the most successful album in the world. Jackson was not only celebrated for his singing, but also for his legendary way of dancing. Later albums, such as "Bad", also sold millions and Jackson was considered the undisputed "King of Pop".
