Additional info/contents	Fireflies are a symbolic representation of hope, enlightenment, and fleeting beauty in music. Jakob Gruchmann's "Firefly Parade" (2010) for wind orchestra translates this theme into musical form. Inspired by a nocturnal encounter with fireflies, Gruchmann structures the work through changing tempos and keys: an introductory fanfare in A-flat major, a lively dance in F major, a tranquil middle section, and a dynamic conclusion in F major reflect the various facets of fireflies.
