Additional info/contents	Utopia, originally defined as an ideal but unattainable place, serves in art as an expression of societal longings and critical reflection. In music, this concept is made tangible through sound, as E.T.A. Hoffmann's quote "Where words fail, music begins" illustrates. Thomas Asanger's composition "Utopia" for wind orchestra musically realizes this idea. Asanger utilizes the sonic possibilities of the wind orchestra to make the ambivalence of Utopia audible.
