Additional info/contents	Tonnen-Weise was commissioned by the 'Holz&Blech' project as part of Kulturhauptstadt Linz09 on the theme of 'construction sites' and premiered at Linz Castle in September 2009. The title Tonnen-Weise refers on the one hand to the sheet metal barrels used in this piece, and on the other hand it also refers to the number of construction sites we keep encountering - 'tons and tons' of them. The very rhythmic opening section depicts the industrious work on a building site. As is well known, not everything always goes according to plan there. The following calm middle section awakens dreams of an unspoilt landscape and the beauty of nature. But not too much dreaming! The work on the construction site is already going on again...
