In Concerto d'Amore, the maestoso opening is followed by a quick, energetic movement leading to a magnificent adagio. A motif from this adagio can then be heard in a swinging movement. This leads to a return of the adagio which brings the piece to a close. Commissioned by 'Excelsior' Nijland (The Netherlands), on the occasion of its seventy-fifth anniversary. Radiotrack
