Additional info/contents	Satoshi Yagisawa's composition "Cavetowns 'Cappadocia' – Strangely shaped rocks where elves dwell" for wind orchestra connects the unique landscape of Cappadocia with the historic underground cities that served as a refuge for persecuted Christians in the 2nd century BC. The region is known for its surreal rock formations and extensive cave systems, which once sheltered up to 90,000 people. Yagisawa's work is divided into fourteen sections that musically depict the inner world of the persecuted and the mystical landscape. Gentle sounds symbolize the atmosphere of the rocks, while dramatic passages reflect the threat and confinement of the caves. The composition blends modern techniques with emotional depth and invites the listener to experience the connection between history, landscape, and human resilience.
