Additional info/contents	On 11 March 2011, a violent earthquake in Japan triggered a huge tsunami with disastrous consequences for people, nature and cultural life. Yutaka Nishida from the radio programme 'The Bandwagon' therefore asked several composers, including Jan Van der Roost, to write a simple work that could be played by many orchestras. "Song of Hope begins sombrely in the low register, then builds to a more optimistic conclusion. There is hope for better times...!
