Additional info/contents	On March 11, 1879, a massive fire broke out in a brewery in the Austrian town of Neumarkt am Wallersee, spreading to 60 other houses within an hour. Due to inadequate equipment and a lack of water, almost the entire town burned to the ground. Only the church survived. This epic piece musically depicts these events in a programmatic way. It describes the ominous moments leading up to the disaster, the devastating fire, and concludes with the town's reconstruction thanks to the tremendous support of the people of Salzburg.
