The English title "Warp" means "distortion/change" and indicates the way in which the piece is oriented towards the listener's perception. Through repetitions, a constant feeling of pulse over a longer period of time, setting priorities, etc., patterns are developed and consolidated on different levels, which are then broken or put into a new context. This forces the listener to change perspectives: Rhythmic patterns, motifs, gestures and also harmonies are suddenly heard differently than immediately before.
