Additional info/contents	Cats have always inspired musicians, for example in Carlo Farina's "Capriccio Stravagante" or Frédéric Chopin's "Cat Waltz," which musically capture their behavior. Thomas Asanger's "Nora – Light of the North" for wind orchestra continues this tradition: in seven movements, character traits such as serenity, playfulness, and passion are portrayed. Through rhythmic variations, dynamic contrasts, and targeted instrumentation—from gentle woodwinds to powerful brass—a vivid soundscape of the cat emerges. The work is aimed at cat lovers and celebrates the emotional bond between humans and animals.
