Although the character traits of the individual animals are hinted at, they must be brought to sound by the performers themselves and in a very effective way. At the same time small scale studies and interval exercises are hidden in the work (e.g. bars 9, 32 or 39). The children should also get to know practical music, which will definitely be used in their further musical path: march, fanfare, bass solo + accompaniment, drone accompaniment, etc. The use of different terms for "march", such as defilement or procession, also broadens the musical vocabulary of the young musicians. In any case, the "parade" is intended to give the performing children fun and pleasure in making music together.
