Additional info/contents	*In Memoriam* is a 15-minute composition for symphonic wind orchestra dedicated to police officers killed or injured in the line of duty. Originally conceived as a lighthearted piece, it became a tribute to the victims of policing following a fatal attack on an officer in Cova da Moura. *In Memoriam* is an internationally performed memorial that offers conductors and musicians a challenging interpretive opportunity. The work is divided into three parts: 1. Child's Perspective – playful, yet with hints of the dwindling trust in the police. 2. Grief and Loss – melancholic, with dark tonal colors. 3. Anger and Hope – dynamic, ending in a meditative conclusion. (he)
