Without music, celebrations would be mere formalities. The emotional component of music contributes significantly to making our lives truly worth living. In recent weeks, the question of whether art and culture are essential has been raised with increasing frequency. The mere presence of art and culture at special occasions, and the added value they bring to our quality of life, must answer this question with a resounding "yes." Art and culture are the spice of life. Music accompanies people from cradle to grave. This composition is dedicated to all those who feel committed to this idea – especially the celebrating band. "From Cradle to Grave" is a commissioned work by the Längenfeld Brass Band in Tyrol, Austria, on the occasion of its 185th anniversary.
