Additional info/contents	The "Galop Prestissimo," Op. 152 by Charles Emile Waldteufel (1881), is a typical example of late Romantic French dance music, popular in the vibrant social dance culture of the 19th century. In the 20th century, the galop was arranged for advanced wind orchestra and brass band by John Glenesk Mortimer. This arrangement utilizes the full range of sounds of modern wind orchestras, reinforcing rhythmic accents while preserving the original character of the work.
