Additional info/contents	Johann Strauss Jr.'s concert waltz "Wine, Women and Song," Op. 333, was composed in 1868/69 and reflects the joie de vivre and elegance of the Viennese waltz tradition in a time of social change. John Glenesk Mortimer's arrangement for intermediate wind orchestra shortens the work to approximately 3.5 minutes and adapts its sound and playing technique to modern wind orchestras. This version allows wind bands to incorporate this classic work into their concert programs in a compact and effective way, combining historical music with contemporary wind band practice.
