| Definition/synonyms |
The THUNDER TUBE consists of a cardboard tube that is sealed on one side with a plastic membrane. A thin steel spring is attached to the membrane, which vibrates when the instrument is shaken. This creates a sound reminiscent of thunder and storms. You can also use it as a voice amplifier (with a reverberation effect!) by shouting or singing into the opening of the tube. The edge of the tube rests next to the corner of your mouth and remains slightly open. |
