Additional info/contents	The main theme of this composition was written on the night of 10 August, one of those starry nights when shooting stars fall gently from the sky so as not to disturb the dreams of those who sleep. The Italian composer Angela Ciampani was inspired in the composition by her son Lorenzo and the trails of shooting stars over the green hills of Umbria. What was originally conceived as a short solo piece for trumpet and piano was later expanded by Jacob de Haan and rewritten for solo euphonium and wind orchestra.
