Additional info/contents	The aim of this arrangement was above all to preserve the chamber music character of the piece, against which the few "noisy" parts then naturally stand out clearly. In the present instrumentation, the parts of the strings generally fall to the flutes, clarinets, saxophones and the soft brass instruments flugelhorn, tenor horn, baritone and tuba. The role of Haydn's soloist sextet of two oboes, clarinets and bassoons each has been faithfully preserved*, and the horns and trumpets (these with additional tasks!) as well as the percussion have largely been able to retain their original functions. The key of C major is that of the original.
