Additional info/contents	American Patrol is a classic march that has been loved for generations by audiences and performers. The tempo is kept steady throughout until the accelerando and vivo near the end. Be certain that the tempo is maintained when the percussion is not playing. Dynamic control is important with a gradual crescendo from the beginning to letter I. From L to Q, there is a corresponding gradual decrescendo. The effect is one of a band approaching from a distance, passing the audience, and then fading away, with a final burst of martial music at the end.
