Programme notes:
Among the marches "Anton Ambrosch", the present march deserves special mention because of its beauty of sound. It is dedicated to the commander of the 57th Infantry Regiment, Colonel Johann Arthold, who commanded it from 1884 to 1889. Curiously, the second part of this march already appears as a trio melody in the "Parade Deflier March", so the composer "borrowed" from himself.
