Additional info/contents	Josef Poncar, like his important contemporaries Jaromír Vejvoda and Karel Vacek, is one of the "great" composers of Bohemian light music. He always remained true to his rural atmosphere and themes. One of his best-known works is the polka "In the Bird Meadow". Despite his fondness for music, Josef Poncar was employed in his main job at the railway.
