Satz: Blues; Trotz folgender Umstände, dass * der Samba nicht ein richtiger Samba ist * der Walzer nicht ein richtiger Walzer ist * der Walzer sich in den Samba hineingeschlichen hat * der Blues seine Basslinie verloren hat * der 'Trot' erst nach Zahnpflege gespielt werden kann * falls zwei Vibraphon Spieler nicht zur Verfügung stehen, ein vierarmiger Spieler erforderlich ist * der Altsaxophonist zu pfeifen hat * manche Percussionspieler sich um ihren eigenen Applaus kümmern * zwei Klarinettisten vor dem Ende des Stückes fliehen möchten * zusätzlich zur Standardpercussion noch eine Radklingel, eine Schreibmaschine, zwei Liedpfeifen, eine Rassel, ein Wecker, ein Waschbrett und eine Sportspfeife benötigt werden ... ist dieses Stück ein völlig normales Musikstück! Übrigens: es gibt dabei absolut keine Geschichte dahinter. Falls das Ende wie eine veraltete Platte klingt, kann dies als reiner Zufall betrachtet werden. Hardy Mertens (in einer sehr ernsten Stimmung) 1st movement: Samba; 2nd movement: Waltz; 3rd movement: Blues; Despite the following circumstances: * the samba is not a real samba * the waltz is not a real waltz * the waltz has snuck into the samba * the blues has lost its bass line * the 'trot' can only be played after dental work * if two vibes players are not available, a four-handed player is necessary * the alto saxophonist has to whistle * some of the percussionists have to take care of their own applause * two clarinet players will want to flee before the end of the piece * in addition to the standard percussion a bicycle bell, a typewriter, two song whistles, a rattle, an alarm clock, a washboard and a sport whistle are required... this work is a completely normal piece of music! By the way: there is absolutely no story behind it. If the end sounds like an outdated record, this can be regarded as pure coincidence. Hardy Mertens (in a very serious mood)
