Additional info/contents	Kurt Gäble composed "Euregio" as a commission for the 1st Euregio Music Festival in 1999. The horn, previously used as an instrument for communication, is intended in this work to serve as a symbol of understanding between the regions and their people. A modern tonal language and a fundamental rhythm that drives forward represents the visionary goal of a diverse, cultural and yet unified Europe. The Euregio "via salina" consists of the border regions of Allgäu (Bavaria), Ausserfern (Tyrol) and Kleinwalsertal/Bregenzerwald (Vorarlberg). The aim of this community is to promote cross-border cooperation and people coming together. At the 1st Euregio Music Festival in 1999, musicians from these three regions united for the first time to form a selection orchestra, the Euregio Wind Orchestra (EBO). This ensemble premiered Kurz Gäble's fantasy "Euregio" at a gala concert.
