Additional info/contents	High above the Styrian Enns Valley, at the entrance to the Salzkammergut, rises the mighty mountain massif of the Grimming. In the Middle Ages and early modern times, the Grimming was considered the highest mountain in the country because it rises from the valley floor to commanding heights. Although the fame of being the highest mountain in the country has since passed to the Dachstein, the Grimming remains an imposing feature of the Upper Styrian landscape. Now the mountains have cast a spell on a composer. Ernest Majo, a guest in a house on the Pürgg in the summer of 1975, translated his impressions into music. The result was Grimming-Impressionen, in which the subjective, silent confrontation with the Grimming is reflected.
