Additional info/contents	The composer originally composed the piece for wind orchestra. It gives all percussionists a good opportunity to demonstrate soloistic skills. Young drummers can largely stick to the notation, while experienced drummers have the opportunity for free development and can add a big solo ad lib at the end. In the orchestral parts there is no accompaniment in the conventional sense. All instruments play melody. Therefore, precise timing and rhythm must be strictly observed. This work was commissioned by ZDF to present a young percussion talent on television.
