Additional info/contents	This symphony has been composed at the request of the conductor Kanat Akhmetov and dedicated to him and his orchestra, the State Wind Orchestra of Kazakhstan. The symphony consists of three parts. The oppression of human beings, of their personality and their rights under totalitarian regimes is the basic idea of the symphony. In the 1st movement one can hear the idyllic strains expressing the fate of human beings in a better future. Bearing this ideal in mind, they are willing to unite. At the beginning the music is very serene, but suddenly the music turns abruptly into chaos. Finnish chords, the conscious employment of D-major and the solemn strains are symbolizing anti-humanitarian ideologies rising to power. The 2nd movement symbolizes the crying people, the national tragedy, the requiem. The 3rd movement depicts the reign of terror under totalitarian regimes, which determine the fate of people. One can hear the diabolic laughing of the oppressors. The dodecaphonic fugue characterizes a fearful labyrinth, from which nobody can escape. I. Reminiscences about Future II. Sad end III. Programme notes: The term "Idée Fixe" in music in connection with the composition "Symphonie 'Idée Fixe' (Symphony on the Monogram A.C.H.M.E.D.)" by Adil Bestybaev The term "Idée Fixe" comes from the French language and literally means "fixed idea" or "fixed idea". In music, it refers to a recurring theme or motif that appears multiple times in a composition and often represents a specific person, emotion or idea. The term was made famous by Hector Berlioz, who used it in his "Symphonie fantastique" (1830) to describe the recurring theme symbolizing the protagonist's lover. The Symphony "Idée Fixe" by Adil Bestybaev The Symphony "Idée Fixe" (Symphony on the Monogram A.C.H.M.E.D.) by Adil Bestybaev is a modern work for symphonic wind orchestra. This movement represents the inevitable tragedy and suffering of the oppressed. III. Unpredictability of the Past (Allegro): The third movement is a fast, unpredictable movement that represents the chaotic nature of memory and the uncertainty of the past. The Allegro tempo creates a feverish energy that captures the instability and confusing nature of life under totalitarian regimes. The "Idée Fixe" could appear here as an ever-changing motif reflecting the distorted and manipulated perception of the past. In Bestybaev's symphony, the "Idée Fixe" plays various roles. A recurring musical theme reflects the central idea or conflict of the composition, namely, the constant threat and oppression under a totalitarian regime. This motif runs through all three movements, ensuring the emotional and narrative continuity of the symphony.
