Programme notes: This march influenced a whole series of Bavarian army marches, whose peculiarity lies in the ostensibly led bass line. In its "Gemütlichkeit" (cosiness) it forms a deliberate counter-accent to the rather swinging, energetic Prussian marches. It is the march of the former Panzergrenadierbrigade 11 from Bogen.
