Additional info/contents	The four-part suite Rikudim (Hebrew for 'dancing') consists of dances inspired by Jewish music. Through the use of oriental-sounding tone intervals and irregular time signatures, the composer has succeeded in merging a touch of melancholy with specific Jewish elements in this music. The clearly defined themes and the sometimes very surprising and natural harmonies make these stylized folk dances convey their message very directly.
