Additional info/contents	Austrian composer "Carl Michael Ziehrer learned the profession of a hatter before he followed his talent as musician, composer and conductor. 1884 he became director of the Infantry Regiment Hoch- und Deutschmeister No. 4 that, at a novelty concert staged by the band on Oct. 16, 1890, introduced the new march which was to became ”the” classical Austrian military march. "Schönfeld-Marsch" was dedicated to Feldzeugmeister (Lieutenant General) Anton Freiherr von Schönfeld who was corps commander and commanding general of the II Corps in Vienna between 1899 and 1894. New edition with retention of the original key.
