Additional info/contents	The musical fantasy is based on the well-known folk song 'Turkey in the Straw' ('Turkey' is a turkey). After the introduction, we meet our friend as he is known from the folk song. During the "Moderato", the turkey seems to be in a melancholy mood, thinking back to the good times on Old McDonald's farm. This farm bordered the "Daisy Hill Puppy Farm", but that's another story altogether.... During the Adagio, our turkey is suddenly very sad, but even this mood passes and soon he is dancing a happy jig. But then the human appears on the scene and after a short chase the turkey calls out for the very last time. After a short while of sadness, we soon discover that our friend has shared the fate of many turkeys and has ended up on the festive table during a Christmas feast.
