Programme notes: additional text

"Body to body, dancing mania, impetous music". Quotation from U Harabisa from Leos Janácek, a feuilleton of the popular newspaper "Lidové noviny", 30 November 1924. U Harabisa was an old village inn near Hukvaldy - Janácek's birthplace - where the composer heard and notated the folk tunes and dances of this country in 1881. The composition U Harabisa attempts to remember this atmosphere.
