Additional info/contents	These Variations were probably composed by Rossini around 1810, during his studies at the Bologna Conservatory. It is recommended—also considering the designation 'Variations for Clarinet and Small Orchestra'—to use the full ensemble only in the tutti sections. The solo clarinet part has been left entirely as it was originally written and can easily be played with a soprano saxophone.
