Programme notes: This well-sounding and extremely imaginative march was the winning title of the 1998 composition competition of the Therme Geinberg in the Upper Austrian Innviertel. The requirement was to compose a march that could also be mastered by an intermediate band. The work meets this requirement in the best possible way and was therefore also selected by the ÖBV as a compulsory piece.
