Additional info/contents The idea of the Rumm Bumm march comes from the Schlagwerkaviso while marching. This typical signal is processed at the beginning and in the trio input, if desired also vocally. The first melody tones are reminiscent of the "left-right-song" and are supposed to establish another connection to the marching. A light bass solo in the second part and a light lyrical melody for tenor horns and horns in the trio complete the Rumm Bumm march. It was written by Markus Schmidbauer as a compulsory piece for the competition for youth brass orchestras "Polka, Walzer, Marsch" on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the youth brass orchestra Haag in 2017. It was composed especially for beginner youth brass orchestras with optional voice extension and is also particularly suitable for first attempts at marching.
